Hawthorn Dentists Aaron and Patrick have gained a strong reputation for quality dental work. The success of Cornerstone Dentistry has come from it's small highly trained and united team. All staff believe the patient should be at the centre of all aspects of care and that treatment should be long-term minded not just focused on addressing today's concerns.
All staff stay at the top of their game through a commitment to life-long learning. This involves completing advanced courses, reading widely, maintaining strong relationships with industry professionals in different fields, and sharing their unique experiences with each other.
This approach has resulted in staff always able to utilise the latest technologies and treatment methods available.
Dr Aaron Wong
Hawthorn Dentist Dr Aaron Wong graduated as Dentist from Melbourne University with honours. Since then he's worked in the Melbourne CBD and eastern suburbs and has enjoyed caring for a wide variety of patients throughout his career. He is a keen advocate for taking the time to understand a patients unique needs and situation. This approach is central to his ability to continually meet patients hopes for healthy teeth and a great looking long term smile!
In addition to his time at the practice, he is also currently undertaking post-graduate studies to attain a Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics. It is his hope that with ongoing further studies he will be able to provide a more extensive service to better care for his patients.
Throughout his studies, Aaron has found a special interest in helping patients with jaw pain (also known as temporomandibular disorders) and sleep related disorders. Even though the bulk of his training is about the mouth and teeth, Aaron realises that it’s important to help his patients also improve and maintain their general health as well.
In his spare time, Aaron enjoys playing soccer and is a keen Arsenal supporter. He is also a proud coffee connoisseur and is still trying to perfect his latte art.
Dr Patrick Wong
Hawthorn Dentist Dr Patrick Wong graduated as a Dentist from Melbourne University in 2009. Since then he has worked in Geelong and Melbourne. He is a strong believer that dentistry should be practiced in a gentle manner grounded in integrity and honesty. He greatly enjoys building rapport with his patients and always takes time to understand your needs and concerns and to explain each step on your path to good dental health!
He is committed to always learning and attending regular advanced dental courses to learn about the latest dental techniques and methods in order to further improve the care he provides to his patients. Patrick takes special interest in performing root canal treatments and dental implants and takes pride in helping his patients keep their teeth for as long as possible.
Outside of work he is a fanatic Hawks supporter and greatly enjoys snowboarding. He and his wife are the very proud parents of two children.
Emma works hard to ensure the smooth daily running of the practice. Her comforting and warm manner will make you feel at ease and comfortable during your visit. Emma has been a central member of the team at Cornerstone Dentistry since May 2011. She has 8 years of experience as a Dental Assistant and enjoys constantly building on her skills in her growing role.
She enjoys working in a fast paced and highly relational environment and the variety of work offered at Cornerstone suits her friendly and enthusiastic nature.
Outside of work Emma enjoys Pilates, staying active, playing mother to her pets and brunching with friends and family.
Georgia loves interacting with patients and always brings a cheerful and positive energy to the room. Behind the scenes, she works hard to stay one step ahead of our dentists and ensure your visit is as smooth and seamless as possible. Currently studying Dental Assisting at RMIT and in her spare time Georgia enjoys Horse Riding, Figure Skating, and spending time with her family, friends and two Jack Russells.
